Includes negotiation of land acquisition, the end-to-end conveyancing process inclusive of strict due diligence and drafting of all relevant legal documents and registration of documents with the Lands and Deeds Registry as well as City Councils. Also includes the registration of mortgages, debentures, agricultural charges and other security documents at the Patents and Companies Registration Agency, Movable Property Registration System, Lands and Deeds Registry and City Councils to secure creditor rights.

Includes advice on local and international rules and regulations around anti-bribery and corruption (international regimes such as the UK Anti-Bribery Act and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act). Also includes drafting ABC policies on behalf of clients, and assisting clients form mechanisms for implementing and monitoring ABC policies.

Anti – Money Laundering (AML) and Counter – Terrorist Financing (CTF)

Includes providing advice to clients on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) best practice. We assist clients implement risk-based approaches to AML risk in terms of the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and other standard setting bodies. It also includes advice on local and international regulations around management of AML and CTF risk.

Employment Law

Includes provision of advice to clients on the relevant employment law matters, drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies for compliance with employment laws, and drafting relevant employment policies.
